The Sodus Central School District offers a comprehensive education-based athletics program for students in grades seven through twelve. We offer 17 different athletic programs that are made up of 45 different teams servicing over 300 students.   We are governed by the New York State Education Department and are a part of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, Section V and the Wayne County Athletic Association.

Mission Statement

Nurtured by the influence of a diverse community, our district is committed to the success of every student. We will support our students in developing the skills and strategies needed to achieve academic and athletic excellence and to become respectful, responsible, kind citizens of a global society. Interscholastic athletics promotes character traits of high value which will lead to success later in life.

Purpose Statement:

As an athletic director, my purpose is to guide student-athletes in developing strong teamwork, a growth mindset, and a passion for lifelong physical activity. I strive to create an environment where students learn valuable life skills through sports, fostering resilience, discipline, and a love for healthy living that extends far beyond high school.
